As musicians, our team at RealTime Audio knows how life-changing a high-quality, in sync rehearsal or performance can be. So, it’s all the more crucial that the setup experience be as easy, economical, and user-friendly as possible. Thanks to our simple hardware solution, plugging in and playing music together in RealTime is truly as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!
In order to be able to play with other musicians remotely, all participants must have :-
- A RealTime Audio powered device | RealTime Portal by iCON Pro Audio
- A RealTime Audio App Premium subscription
- A USB class-compliant audio interface*
- A non-USB microphone (for talkback), mic cable, and headphones
- Access to their internet router (If you don’t have access or the router is too far away, it is recommended to use ethernet powerline adapters or MoCa adapters.)
- A minimum upload speed of 10Mbps or greater (Test your speed here.)
- Note: Internet connections MUST be wired via ethernet, not wireless. The RealTime Audio technology is not compatible with 5G wireless WiFi nor panoramic WiFi gateways. Any path that the signal takes that isn’t wired will introduce jitter (inconsistency in signal strength) and jitter causes latency.
Premium Subscriptions cost $9.99 a month. Your first month is free when you purchase a RealTime Audio Box from us.
